In March I spent several yummy hours at the San Francisco International Chocolate Salon at Fort Mason. First I had a great walk along the waterfront and then thru the weekend markets before entering the pavilion. As you will see and hear on the video’s it was a busy, loud, and charged atmosphere. Hi, I’m Cristina Arantes, a.k.a. Kika. I was born and raised in Brazil, one of the tropical lands of cacao, where I spent my days baking and eating all things chocolate. In 1999 I moved to San Francisco and had the opportunity to work at a variety of wonderful restaurants and bakeries where I refined my skills with some of the finest chefs around. In 2006, I made a list of my favorite treats and decided that it was time to share them with the world.
